Travel with Sweet Comforts

Discover an intriguing natural wonder at Ruby Falls, one of Chattanooga, Tennessee’s favorite attractions. The thundering 145-foot waterfall at 1120 feet underground inside historic Lookout Mountain has been thrilling visitors since 1929. Ruby Falls is the tallest and deepest underground waterfall open to the public.

A gentleman by the name of Leo Lambert, a cave enthusiast, had explored the cave before it was initially closed to the public and yearned to open the cave to the public once more. The magnificent waterfall was discovered while drilling an elevator shaft. The waterfall is named after Mr. Lambert’s wife, Ruby.

If you are in the area, take a break and enjoy the beauty of Chattanooga’s Ruby Falls. You can also see Rock City, and find breathtaking views of the city. You can find more information on planning your trip to Ruby Falls on their website
